The forms necessary to file for tax deductions and tax credits through the Vincennes Urban Enterprise Zone are now available at the UEZ Office in the Vincennes City Hall, 201 Vigo Street. These forms may be obtained Monday through Friday during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The Enterprise Zone Business Registration (Form EZB-R) must be filed each year by current UEZ members and those businesses that plan to file for first-time exemptions.
Schedule EZ-2 is available for businesses seeking a deduction on an investment within the Vincennes Urban Enterprise Zone that includes the purchase of an existing building; construction of a new building; repair, rehabilitation or modernization of an existing building; an onsite infrastructure improvement; the purchase of new manufacturing equipment or production equipment; and the retooling of existing machinery.
An income tax credit for employers on wages paid to qualified employees may be requested on Schedule EZ as an employment expense tax credit. Schedule LIC is a form used by financial institutions to claim an income tax credit on lender interest, and Vincennes residents who live and work in the Urban Enterprise Zone may file Form IT-40QEC to claim an income tax credit through their employer.
